Static Cling?

I have a black pair of pants (Dickie Brand) that are well made and comfortable. The trouble with them is some serious cling. They attract pet hair like a magnet. I use anti static sheets in the dryer and Static Guard afterwards, with little or no success.

I have other items of clothing that are black but do not have this problem.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

This is an abstract approach,but if regular products designed for this purpose aren’t working,this will.Buy some Armor all,spray a small but fine mist over the paints before they go into the dryer.If you want to You Can even add some essential oils for a fragrance.Armor All contains silicone.Silicone is the same ingredient used in fabric softeners.That’s why your towels will be slightly less absorbent after using dryer sheets to soften of freshen them.Silicone is among many other thing a lubricant and waterproofing agent.
Silicone is the ingredient in one section of a printing press to control the static electricity while the web travels through the press.I was an electrical technician for 3 years at a printing plant.We knew the silicone pumps weren’t working when bolts of electricity up to 5 feet long shot from the paper to ground.
